The focus of this interim report from the project "Hur mår doktoranden? 2026" is international doctoral students’ working environment and employment conditions, with an emphasis on migration politics, language, and discrimination. The report is based on a survey of doctoral students at nine universities and colleges (University of Gothenburg is one of them). 

The results show that international doctoral students often report higher levels of stress related experiences, face discrimination more often and that the language barriers create additional problems.
