Webinar: “How are international doctoral students doing? 

On 9th of June Sveriges förenade studentkårers doktorandkommitté and Fackförbundet ST will release the report "How are international doctoral students doing?" ("Hur mår den internationella doktoranden?").

The focus of this first interim report from the project "Hur mår doktoranden? 2026" is international doctoral students’ working environment and employment conditions, with an emphasis on migration, language and discrimination. The report is based on a survey of doctoral students at nine universities and colleges. 

The results show that international doctoral students often report higher levels of stress related experiences, face discrimination more often and that the language barriers create additional problems.
